Jessica celebrated her 29th with an eventful weekend, including a birthday bash at home (pictured), a Cleveland Cavaliers game, a visit to the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, and a party at her Mom’s room at the Ritz-Carlton, along with a lot more! It was a great time and, of course, a wonderful celebration of a beautiful and amazing person.
Our new pets–they’re both a type of small broad-tailed parrot called budgerigars (also known as parakeets or budgies). Don’t you think they’re cool? Belle is the beautiful blue one and Striker is the sharp-looking green one.

On Wednesday morning, I was greeted with a winter wonderland! Snow was silently falling, and I wanted to show my dad the Ford Focus (his car that he gave me) covered in snow. It took Dan a good 20 minutes to scrape off all the ice and dig out the ice and snow to create a path to drive. In the video, I also mention the horrible ice storm that happened on Tuesday night–ice + snow = Welcome to Ohio!
